Crushing on turquoise

First, let me say a big welcome to all the new visitors I've had this week.  Thanks for checking out my painted Hepplewhite dresser!  I've had some computer issues since that last post, so I'm glad to be back today.

I wanted to share with you another color crush.  Last time it was coral.  This time I'm featuring turquoise.  I'm a big fan of blues -- and turquoise, AKA aqua, is definitely my favorite.  Maybe it's because turquoise reminds me of being at the beach!

Turquoise can be dressed up for formal spaces:

Or it can be playful:

It can be used from the bathroom ...

... to the office.

Turquoise can play with other bright colors:

It can also be part of a muted palette:

Or it can be mixed with various hues of its own kind:

Designer Emily Henderson used a turquoise sofa as the lead singer in my favorite redos on her show "Secrets from a Stylist":

I've got pops of turquoise throughout my house and plan on making a bolder statement with it in my bedroom and living room soon.  Tune in!

Do you love turquoise as much as I do?  What are your favorite ways to incorporate it into your own decor?
