Crushing on chevron prints - part 3 - walls, floors and furniture

In my last "Crushing on chevron prints" post, I showed you some ways you can add chevron to your home without making much of a commitment.  This time, let's look at some more permanent ways to bring in the ziggety-zaggeties.

Walls

Yes, you can always re-paint a room.  But these designs require a lot more work than just a little cutting in and rolling, so you'd want to keep them for a long time!

I gasp over this brown and white zig-zag design, which was painted freehand (no tape)!

Floors

You can lay wood planks on your floor in a chevron pattern if you want to make a statement with your floor.  Nancy at shared several photos that you should check out, including this one.  Gorg!

You could also employ regular straight-plank wood floors but use stain to create a chevron pattern.  This example gives the effect of a rug.

You can even create a chevron pattern with tiles.  These are black and white marble, and are super classy!

Or you can use whatever hard-surface floors you have and paint them.

Furniture

Not quite ready to take that much of a dive?  Here are a couple bits of furniture inspiration.

For those of you not so into the chevron ... well, who am I kidding -- those people didn't read this far.

For those of you who are digging it, my next and final chevron post will include some DIY projects.  Stay tuned!
